He received a law degree from Boston University Law School and practiced in Lowell for several years before joining the ABC staff. He retired four years ago after almost 40 years. Mr. Angelo was a World War I veteran, a member of the Holy Name Society of Immaculate Conception Church and a pianist and organist, entertaining frequently at clubs and banquets. He leaves his wife, Alice (Dion); two daughters.
